  1. Using the Joist Template
  2.  
  3. Input is all done in the last 3 columns in the
  4. unprotected slots. Values for span, live and
  5. dead load, breadth, depth, spacing etc are
  6. entered. This will be reflected by instantaneous
  7. changes to the calculated values. Loads are in
  8. KN/m2 and dims are in mm, stress is in N/mm2.

  10. Check that your sheet is complete and add any
  11. comments at the bottom.

  13. Set printer to condensed 16.67cpi for output. I
  14. use a DeskJet which ignores the input columns, p q
  15. and r thus giving a single A4 sheet as a
  16. "calculation sheet".
